International Mother Language Day Celebration 2026

On Saturday, 21st February 2026, Sampriti proudly celebrated International Mother Language Day at Leicester Hall, Ellerslie, with a vibrant and heartfelt community gathering.
The afternoon featured a rich multicultural programme with performances representing Chinese, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Samoan, and many other languages. Through music, recitations, and dance, participants beautifully showcased the diversity and cultural heritage that make our community so special.
The event was a meaningful tribute to linguistic diversity and a celebration of unity in diversity within our community.
