The evening featured traditional prayers, chanting, and the lighting of diyas, creating a serene and radiant atmosphere. Offerings were made to Goddess Lakshmi, followed by bhog and prasad shared among families and community members. Durgotshav 2025
Sampriti proudly hosted its first-ever Durga Puja, bringing the community together in devotion, culture, and joy. With 200+ attendees each day, the celebrations featured vibrant cultural performances, traditional rituals, and festive meals. We were also delighted to welcome Hon. MP Melissa Lee, whose presence added to the spirit of the occasion. The atmosphere was filled with energy, laughter, and a true sense of togetherness.
Embracing Traditions
A key part of our activities is celebrating Bengali culture through diverse cultural programs. We actively encourage and involve the youth, ensuring they have opportunities to learn about and connect with our heritage. By engaging the next generation, we aim to instil a deep appreciation for our rich cultural traditions, empowering them to carry forward the legacy for years to come.
